DEAR PARENTS !
I KNOW GETTING YOUR CREW TOGETHER FOR FAMILY PHOTOS IS NOT AN EASY TASK-FROM SCHEDULING,
TO CHOOSING THE PERFECT OUTFITS, MAKING SURE NO ONE IS DIRTY FROM
THE CAR RIDE TO THE SESSION, & THEN TRYING to get your little one to cooperate and smile. Trust me, I know that feeling all too well and although it’s easy for me to say since I'm the one behind the camera, I really and truly get it. It’s stressful sometimes, you feel like you've paid all that money just to arrive and your child isn't listening or doesn't want to smile in the least.
I understand I do, but those moments, even the grumpy ones. The stressful ones and sometimes frustrating ones. Those “nothing-seems-to-go-right” moments. Yes, those. They will be so CHERISHED years down the road. So breathe, mommas and daddy’s. Embrace the PERFECT CHAOS of your family. Hold those babies tight, because one day family photos will be easy. There won’t be any silly mayhem, no fart joke in the world will make them giggle, no tiny hands will tug on your pant leg to tell you “mommy, I’ve got to go pee pee” 5 minutes into your session, or a little face burrowed into your neck accompanied by the sleepiest little smile. They will grow up. This season will be gone and all you will have are these memories. So for now, capture those moments, even when they cry, we wipe the boogers and make the most of it.
